So this is kind of a heavy question for the witch community. I would like to know your opinion on cursing; I am pro-cursing. So long as you have your reasons and set up the right wards and protections, I see nothing wrong with it.

Cursing is so interesting to me!
Because in general, I'm pro-do what you want, as long as you don't hurt anybody. But while cursing is the sending of ill intention/hurt, it seems to contradict that. But there's also a variety of cursing? Like:
- cursing to enact karmic revenge on someone who's escaped being terrible - banishing people from your life - cursing sex offenders and other proven lawbreakers (coughbrockturnercough) - vigilante cursing
And who am I to judge someone's situation? Especially with the recent Orlando shooting... I used to believe there was no such thing as bad people. I'm reconsidering that.
So, my thoughts are still formulating, but. I'm much less anti-curse than I used to be.

I'm all for the "Do no harm, but take no shit" slogan.
I personally won't do curses, but that doesn't mean I haven't written and preformed an Instant Karma spell. I don't have a problem with anything people do, it's all personal journeys and choices. I am just a big believer of what you put out into the universe will come back to you. I would never judge someone for what they choose to do, but I wouldn't want to partake in curses or jinxes.
Just my thoughts!

Still being new to this I haven't had a lot of time to really form a strong opinion around curses. Currently, I am on a middle ground when it comes to curses. I agree with what some of you have said in the sense that I can't judge anothers situation to see what is their reasons but I also think that things you do will come back to you.. so I'm quite in the middle.
I imagine as I explore and read more my thoughts could change to more of one clear side.

I am a very karmic person and also believe that what you out comes back to you (but overall I believe the craft should never be used to harm someone, other than delivering deserved karma). I don't however believe in the threefold law because I believe that curses and hexes and jinxes can be used to deliver someone's negative/bad karma to them. I have yet to try a full on ritual or curse/hex/jinx on someone, but I think that if someone has harmed you physically or emotionally or psychologically, they deserve to feel the pain they put on you. Not necessary "an eye for an eye," but rather "you hurt me in ways you don't even know, here's a taste of your own medicine." For example, I just got out of an abusive friendship but he firmly believes that he was never in the wrong and sooner or later I'm going to perform some magick to make him feel/realize the pain he made me go through.

I just wrote an Instant Karma spell with my sister a couple weeks ago! I'll have to post it, you're more than welcome to use it or tweak it if you'd like.
